Terms and Conditions

Last updated: October 23, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Nomya SpA, a company incorporated in Chile (“we”, “us”), the maker of Plait. They cover the Plait app for Mac, this website and any purchase of Plait Pro. By downloading, installing or using Plait, or by buying a plan, you agree to them. If you use Plait on behalf of a company, you agree on its behalf.

1. What Plait is

Plait is a Mac app that runs several coding agents in parallel on your own computer, each on its own git branch and worktree, and merges into your main branch what passes the checks you set. The agents are powered by Claude Code, which you install and sign in to yourself (see section 6).

2. Your license

Plait is licensed, not sold. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Plait on Macs you own or control, according to the plan you have. We keep all rights in Plait, its code, design and brand. You may not resell, sublicense, rent or redistribute Plait, remove its notices, or reverse engineer it except where the law expressly allows it. The code you write with Plait is yours: we claim no rights over your projects or anything the agents produce in them.

3. Plans and prices

  • Plait (Free): free of charge, with up to 3 agents in parallel and the features listed on our home page.
  • Plait Pro: US$15 a month or US$120 a year, with the Pro features listed on our home page.
  • Founders: Plait Pro billed yearly at US$96 a year, offered to the first 100 people on the waitlist. That price stays the same for as long as the Founders subscription stays active; if it is cancelled or lapses, a new subscription is charged at the current price.

Prices are in US dollars. Sales tax or VAT may be added at checkout depending on where you live. We may change prices for future billing periods; we’ll tell you by email at least 30 days before a change affects a subscription you already have, and you can cancel before it takes effect.

4. Free trial

You can try Plait Pro free for 14 days, without entering a card. When the trial ends, Plait simply returns to the Free plan unless you choose to buy Pro. Nothing is charged automatically at the end of the trial.

5. Payments, renewal and cancellation

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries related to payments and handles returns. Your purchase is also subject to Paddle’s buyer terms.

  • Automatic renewal. Plait Pro is a subscription. It renews automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) and is charged to the payment method you gave Paddle, until you cancel.
  • Cancel anytime. You can cancel at any time from the link in your Paddle receipt or by emailing us. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep Pro until the end of the period you already paid for, and then Plait returns to the Free plan.
  • Refunds. You can get a full refund within 14 days of a purchase, no questions asked. See the Refund Policy.

6. Claude Code and Anthropic

Plait does not include an AI model. It runs Claude Code, which you install and sign in to yourself, under your own Anthropic plan or API key. Any usage, limits or costs of Claude Code are between you and Anthropic, and your use of it is governed by Anthropic’s own terms and policies. Plait does not read, store or transmit your Anthropic credentials. Plait is not affiliated with or endorsed by Anthropic; Claude and Claude Code are trademarks of Anthropic.

7. Your code and the agents’ output

You are responsible for the repositories you open in Plait, for the instructions you give the agents and for reviewing what they produce before you rely on it, ship it or deploy it. Code generated by AI agents can be wrong, insecure, incomplete or similar to existing code. The checks Plait runs before merging are only the checks you configure; passing them is not a guarantee that the code is correct. Keep backups and use version control. We provide no warranty of any kind about the code the agents generate.

8. Acceptable use

Don’t use Plait to break the law, to infringe anyone’s rights, to build malware, or to get around the limits or terms of Claude Code or any other service. Don’t try to bypass Plait’s licensing.

9. Updates and availability

We may update Plait to fix bugs, add features or change how it works. We’ll try not to remove features that a paid plan advertises during a period you’ve paid for. If we ever stop offering Plait Pro, we’ll refund the unused part of any prepaid period.

10. No warranty

Apart from what these terms expressly say, Plait is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability and non-infringement, to the extent the law allows. We don’t promise that Plait will be uninterrupted or error-free.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, code, profits or business, arising from your use of Plait or of the code its agents generate. Our total liability for any claim related to Plait is limited to the amount you paid us for Plait in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by law.

12. Termination

You can stop using Plait at any time. We may suspend or end your license if you seriously breach these terms; if we do so without a breach on your part, we’ll refund the unused part of any prepaid period.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Chile. Any dispute will be handled by the competent courts of Santiago, Chile, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you have in your own country.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Plait changes. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is material, we’ll tell paying customers by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use Plait after that means you accept the new terms; if you don’t, you can cancel and ask for a refund under our Refund Policy.
